2.如有战事需要，可立即在海面从南到北或从北到南海面迅速赶到事发地点。不受气候，道路破坏影响。如果敌方已侵入我方领域，那么我自行火箭炮战舰可在海面上打击侵入我方内路的敌方480公里内的目标。
3.对日，韩如有战事，可距离对方领土480公里处予以打击。又对我保卫南沙及西沙我领土对敌以威慑作用。在距离被对方侵占的我岛屿较远的480公里处的海域就可给敌方以痛击。
4.可与其它海面战舰协同作战，加强对敌海面或陆地的打击力量。
5.火箭炮战舰可以对敌航空母舰,或航空母舰群构成毁灭性打击.导弹虽然也可以对敌航空母舰构成打击,但不如火箭炮来的密集及无可防备.一般来讲,对一,二枚导弹的攻击比较容易在未到达敌舰时被敌摧毁,但密集的火箭炮群则使敌航空母舰防不胜防,火箭炮弹的密集性,速度,难以预防性,及远距离攻击性可使敌航空母舰甲板顷刻间成为火的海洋,海军不是一直在研究打敌航空母舰的办法吗?火箭炮战舰就是一最佳选择.特别是可以在400多公里外发射,而且打击精度也十分精确,那么为什么不考虑建造呢?
